Overview:Master Electronics has an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Branch Manager in Eden Prairie, MN.

We’re seeking a candidate who is excited about the opportunity to make our customers and employees highly successful and create opportunities to capture market share in the Midwest US region. The Sales Branch Manager will assign and direct all work performed and supervise all areas of operation in our Eden Prairie Branch office.
Responsibilities:

  • Meets and/or exceeds assigned sales revenue and gross profit targets via effective management of Inside and Outside Sales Representatives
  • Demonstrates effective people leadership for the branch sales team by assisting them in the development and management of their business relationships to provide alternative product/service solutions to exceed customer expectations, follow up on orders, and solve client-related problems
  • Strengthens relationships with suppliers as a means of introducing new and innovative options that enable the sales branch office to exceed customers’ needs
  • Assess the competitive landscape in the assigned geographic territory and provide reports on market movement and penetration
  • Identifies training needs and coordinates training, ensuring each employee has the skills, training, equipment, and tools necessary to provide a world-class level of service
  • Manages and documents employee issues regarding attendance, performance, conduct, and delivers appropriate corrective action as needed

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years job-related experience in leading sales team with a proven track record of consistent revenue growth
  • Track record of successfully managing a business with a variety of client needs and expectations in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, problem management, and conceptual skills, including the ability to make valid conclusions from assessing operational and financial data
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload as a Sales Branch Manager and establish staffing plans to create highly-satisfied customer outcomes
  • Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal
  • Demonstrated ability to provide best-in-class service to customers that also meet the business and operational objectives of the company
  • Ability to successfully leverage desktop technology
  • Highly effective presentation skills, including professional demeanor, artful negotiation skills, and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and, in particular, the ability to craft professional e-mails and client-related documents

We would prefer you have

  • Previous work experience in an environment involving electronic/electrical component products
  • Strong technical literacy (e.g., understanding of basic electronic/electrical components)

Salary range: $65,000 to $100,000 plus commission plan
